Old Mutual Douglas travel to Bowdon with a slim advantage over their hosts as the South Lancs/Cheshire Division One season boils down to a five-way scrap at the top for two promotions.
Only one point separates second-placed Douglas from Bowdon in fourth, albeit with a game in hand for the Manx team.
The Manchester side were thrashed at Port-e-Chee in October, but have since chalked up good results which include a win against Broughton Park earlier this month.
The home win at Port-e-Chee last week included an impressive first team introduction to ex-power lifter Max Singer and his presence alongside Dom Winrow will be a plus against a large Bowdon pack. There are question marks over availability in the squad via injury and family commitments, including a late fitness check on skipper Glyn Hooson-Owen and whether Lance Wyllie can travel.
However, plus marks include Conor Stephens, Robert Todd and Guy Wood returning, while Karl Evans could be a starter after a sequence of bench duty.
